Technical Requirements & Server Prerequisites

To run, build, and deploy Caby, the following requirements must be met:

Node.js Development Environment: Node.js version 20.x or 22.x LTS with yarn installed on your local machine or server.
Firebase Blaze (Pay-as-you-go) Plan: Required for deploying Firebase Cloud Functions Gen 2. The Blaze plan is strictly necessary because Cloud Functions require outbound network access to communicate with Google Maps APIs, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), and external Payment Gateway APIs (Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Flutterwave).
Google Maps Platform Account & Billing: An active Google Cloud account with a valid billing method enabled. The following Google Maps APIs must be enabled in your Google Cloud Console:
- Maps SDK for Android & Maps SDK for iOS
- Places API (New / Classic) & Geocoding API
- Directions API & Distance Matrix API
Mobile App Compilation Tools: Expo CLI / EAS Build, Android Studio (for native Android builds), and Xcode on macOS (for iOS compilation).

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING EXTERNAL SERVICES & ADDITIONAL COSTS

This item purchase provides you with 100% complete source code and documentation. However, operating a live on-demand ride-hailing platform requires integration with third-party cloud services. These external services involve usage costs that are directly billed by their respective providers and are NOT covered by the purchase price of this CodeCanyon item:

Google Maps Platform: Billed per API request according to Google’s standard pricing (Google provides a recurring monthly free credit of $200 for every account).

Firebase / Google Cloud: Billed under the Firebase Blaze plan based on compute, database read/writes, and storage volume.

SMS Verification Gateways (Optional): External SMS providers (such as Twilio, MSG91, or Firebase Phone Auth) bill per SMS delivered for OTP authentication.

Payment Gateways: Providers such as Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, and Flutterwave charge standard per-transaction processing fees.
