A question we hear a lot: is there an admin panel? There is no need for one. FlatNews plugs straight into your existing WordPress dashboard, so you manage content, app layout, branding, features and monetization all from one place. The app syncs with WordPress in real time, so updates and new posts appear instantly – no extra backend to learn.

Third-Party Services and Costs

FlatNews itself does not charge any recurring fees, but some optional integrations rely on external services that require your own account and are subject to their own pricing and free tiers:

Firebase – push notifications and analytics.
Google AdMob – in-app advertising.
OneSignal – optional push notifications.
Google Gemini API – optional AI summary and translation.

You add your own keys during setup; none are bundled with the product.
