Launch a class booking app your members open before every session: 15 finished screens, a timetable that folds away the empty hours, a waitlist that promotes itself when somebody cancels, and one color file that re-skins all of it. Light and dark themes, GetX architecture, offline documentation, a Laravel admin with a REST API, and a one-page product website ready to publish.

Kettlora — Flutter gym class booking app with a Laravel admin and a landing page

Demo Instructions

The sign-in screen accepts any credentials and contacts no server. The fields arrive prefilled with demo@kettlora.app / demo1234, or tap Continue with the sample studio. Demo mode is on out of the box, so a fortnight of classes, a member with bookings and a half-used class pass are all there the moment the preview opens. There is nothing to register and no API key to enter.

A studio day on one screen

Classes hang off the hour they start at. A stretch of the day with nothing in it collapses to a short dashed gap with the hours written beside it, so the compression is visible rather than silent. An ink line crosses the current minute, two rooms at the same hour sit side by side rather than stacked, and every row is sized by its own content.

The band is the capacity

Every class card carries a strap across its lower third that sticks out past both edges, filled to how full the class is. The spots left ride under its tail, so a member reads a list without opening anything: spots open, full with the tail counting the queue, or a class you are already on.

One class card with its capacity strap, and the same card in three states

Two sentences, then the button

The sheet says what the tap will do before it is tapped: when the free cancel window closes, and what the class costs the pass. The first line is written by the spot engine against the studio’s cutoff, the second by the pass ledger against the pass in hand, and the same shared table of cases is checked on the phone and on the server.

A full class still has an answer

Ask for a spot on a class with none left and the sheet offers the queue with the position you would take on it, before you agree. When somebody cancels, the first place in the queue becomes a booking on its own and both screens say so. A place in the queue costs nothing; the credit is taken only if a spot opens for you.

The waitlist: a full class, taking a place in the queue, and a spot opening

Classes left, loaded on the bar

A class pass is plates on a sleeve. The ones still on it are solid, the ones spent hold their place as outlines, and a member reads how much of a pass is gone at arm’s length. An unlimited pass is one collar rather than ten plates, because drawing plates for a pass with no count would be a picture that disagrees with the words.

One color file, both themes

Every hue in the app is a token in one Dart file, and the brand is there in three grades because one value cannot be a readable button and a shelf thumbnail at the same time. Ink on the brand yellow measures 12.28:1 and brand words on paper 7.13:1 — measured by a test rather than eyeballed. Two typefaces ship as six static files, so nothing is fetched at first launch.

Finished screens, not a shell

15 screens and the sheets between them, every list with its own empty state, drawn on a sample studio of 6 classes and 3 coaches that is bundled in the app. Sign in and sign up, today with the next class counting down, class and coach pages, your bookings and your history, the pass and its request sheet, account, settings and an about page.

Seven more screens: sign in, today, class, coaches, bookings, the pass request sheet and settings

Measured, then shipped

Both halves are tested rather than screenshotted, and the booking rules are checked against one shared table of cases on the phone and on the server, so the two cannot drift apart. 100 Flutter tests pass and the Laravel back end adds 137 of its own over 1026 assertions. Five run-time packages: cupertino_icons, get, dio, flutter_secure_storage and url_launcher. Nothing else.

The figures: 100 Flutter tests, 137 back end tests, 19 REST routes, 5 run-time packages

Laravel back end included

The download ships a Laravel 13 back end with a Filament admin (backend/): the studio keeps a weekly pattern and turns it into next week’s classes with one button, then takes attendance on the Roster desk page, so coaches work in a browser they already have. Class passes are approved and recorded at the desk, all behind a Sanctum-protected REST API of 19 routes. The app runs without it on its own bundled sample data, and connects with one setting when you want it to. Deployment needs PHP 8.4 or newer, or Docker; an installer, a Docker compose file and a deployment guide with a section for people who do not use a terminal are all in the folder.

Landing page included

The download ships a one-page product website for your studio (landing/): hero with two phone mock-ups, three feature tiles, a swipeable screen gallery, FAQ and store buttons, already set in the same colors and typefaces as the app and filled with its real screenshots. It is a single self-contained HTML file with no frameworks and no external requests, checked at 320, 390 and desktop widths, so you can put it on any static host in a minute and replace the copy and store links from the marked spots.

Built for developers

Clean GetX architecture: View, Controller, Repository, Model, with the demo transport swapped in at the HTTP layer so every screen above it is the same code in both modes.
Swap in your API without touching a screen: point one setting at your server and the same repositories talk to it. The sign-in screen really does post to the endpoint the documentation names.
Two pure Dart engines you can lift out: the spot engine and the pass ledger import nothing from Flutter and take their clock as a parameter, and each is mirrored in PHP against the same table of cases.
Drawn, not photographed: there are no image assets at all. Every graphic, including the launcher icon and the store tile, is drawn in code and recolors from one file.
Theme-aware components: the same widgets look right in light and dark, and the contrast of every text and fill pair is measured by a test rather than eyeballed.

What you get: full Flutter source code, offline HTML documentation (21 chapters, 30 screenshots and two interaction recordings), the Laravel back end with its own deployment guide and 137 tests, the one-page product website, light and dark themes, and both fonts bundled under the SIL Open Font License.

Notes

This version books classes rather than one to one sessions, and serves a single studio with one timetable and one admin. Attendance is taken on the Roster desk page in the admin, so coaches work in a browser rather than a second app.

A payment provider is not wired in this version. Class passes are requested in the app, approved at the desk and recorded in the admin, where payment taken in person or by transfer is marked against them. Push notifications are not included either; the back end writes to members by email. Figma or Sketch source files are not included; the interface is defined in the Dart source.

Third-party services and external costs: Kettlora runs on bundled sample data out of the box and makes no network request. Running the included back end needs hosting of your own with PHP 8.4 or newer, or a Docker host with at least 2 GB of memory, and an SMTP service if you want the emails to go out. Connecting either half to live services such as hosting, mail or payment providers will involve those third-party services, which will incur their own separate costs and are not part of this item.
