eCards that keep people connected and raise money for your cause

WordPress eCards lets visitors send electronic greeting cards straight from your website, and it is especially well suited to charities, non-profits and NGOs. Seasonal cards for Christmas, Easter or Valentine’s Day become a friendly donation and fundraising channel, carrying your message and a link back to your appeal to every recipient. One charity customer raised around £600 in a single Christmas from donations by people clicking a link in its eCards. The plugin works just as well on wedding websites, where guests send cards and greetings, on multi-user gallery sites where members share their own images as cards, and on greeting-card, memorial and community sites.

Sending takes three easy steps: pick a card, write a personal message and send it to any email address. Everything is configurable from the plugin settings, and the built-in Email Designer lets you create your own email templates with no coding needed.

Built for

Charities, non-profits and NGOs: turn seasonal eCards into a donation and fundraising channel.
Donation and fundraising websites: add a shareable, personal way for supporters to spread the word.
Wedding websites: let guests send cards and greetings from the couple’s site.
Multi-user gallery sites: users upload their own images and send them as eCards.
Greeting-card, memorial and membership sites: from birthday cards to condolences, or eCards as a member perk.

Key features

Email Designer: design your own templates, with tags and shortcodes such as [name] and [email] in the subject and body.
Seasonal email themes: Christmas, New Year, birthday and thank-you themes, set globally or per form.
Predefined or uploaded images: visitors choose a card or upload their own; any JPG, PNG or animated GIF can be sent, and the card is still delivered if a post has no image.
Collections and custom IDs: choose exactly which images appear on each form, straight from the Media Library.
Scheduling: send eCards on a chosen date, with automatic custom post type creation.
Spam protection: optional Akismet and CAPTCHA, a honeypot field and a per-visitor rate limit.
Membership restrictions: compatible with third-party payment and membership plugins.
Shortcode generator: build forms with a Media Library picker and drag-and-drop ordering.
Extras: custom content appended to every email, CSV email import, basic statistics and a plain-text alternative in every email.
Fast and block editor ready: no external CSS, with styles inlined for Critical CSS benefits, and a container built on native block columns.

Privacy built in

When an eCard is sent, no personal information is stored in the WordPress database, and sent records can be deleted automatically after a set number of days. eCards and collections stay invisible to search engines and public queries, and the plugin runs entirely on your own site, with no external branding and no tracking tags added to emails.
